Returning to my literacy class

Malo e lelei, Today we have returned to our literacy class. I'm in group Gee

This term I'm going to work hard and I will be trying to read everyday for at least 30 minutes to try and read up to  thirteen reading level.

 I am looking forward to achieving in reading this term.

Today we did a myth about 3 gods 

The Dragon's eye lake

Today we learned about The dragons eye lake it was about two brothers one brother was blind and the other brother was not blind the brother that could see. Took the land from his other brother and the blind brother got mad and told him to stop right there and gave him a curse then everything he had fell down and then came water rising up.

By the way if you swim in the dragons lake with your wife then you will fall in love till the end

The myths of Hermes

Today for inquiry we learnt about greek mythology. we learnt about the different greek gods, the greek creation story and about Hermes. When Hermes was a baby he invented fire and a lyre (a Harp). See My Story 

Osa's Immersion Assembly

Today we had a Immersion we started with Mr Burt and talked about all his hats through all his adventures. Then jacobson was wearing a celt and he told a story about how he got his celt and that his great grandfather was training for war but when he got there the war was over that is the story he told us then he handed the mic to Mr somerville said that his great family was knights and that he named his son james he thought he named him that because he liked it but because it was in his family name then the teams had to show there film first is team 1 and on till it get to team 5.

Team 3 : this one is the amazing race = around the world
